January/February Etsy Bead weavers Challange Mosaic

January/February Etsy Bead weavers Challange Mosaic

The Mosaic of the Etsy Bead weavers challenge entries for January/February, Tropical holiday has just been posted on the Bead weavers blog.  Thanks to Marlaine for keeping us current on the blog and Ann for all the hard work with the lovely mosaic.   It is a lot of work and I think we all greatly appreciate your efforts.

The pieces are very good representations of what a tropical holiday means to us individually.  I for example love to spin on the beach like my little Spinny Girl.  It is one of my favorite beach activities.  The Bird of Paradise by Made by Olga is gorgeous and very realistic.   How we will choose just one from such a beautiful collection of bead art!

To have a closer look at each one, go to http://etsy-beadweavers.blogspot.com/.  Under the Mosaic, you can click on the item in the text list to see more detailed pictures of each work in each artists etsy shop.  Voting takes place on the blog and begins Monday, February 9th and ends midnight February 15th.

Thank you, enjoy all the wonderful bead art brought to you by this very talented group.  We all appreciate your support!

All the way around. Weeeeee!!!

All the way around. Weeeeee!!!

Hey all, just wanted to share with you the newest member of the beadlings before she goes on Etsy for the Beadweavers Challenge.  Here she is, Spinny Girl on the Beach!  The Etsy Beadweavers Challenge theme for January/February is Tropical Holiday.  She is having a fabulous time spinning on that beach.  Voting opens on the 9th of February on their blog at http://etsy-beadweavers.blogspot.com/  Check out all the Beadweavers challenge entries on Etsy by searching on EBWC.  They do some amazing work!

Spinny Girl on the Beach is a sculptural peyote doll wearing green jeans and a yellow top with vintage lochrosen flowers flying wildly off the bottom of her top. She has quite the spin going, and looks a little out of control. What Fun!! Her head is a 12 mm rosewood bead and she has a lovely brown with gold accents loopy hairdo. She is worked in size 11 seed beads with my double strand of nylon thread conditioned with beeswax for generations of playable joy!

Check out Spinny Girl on the Beach and all my other bead art creations at http://www.beadartbyshari.etsy.com I am a proud member of the Etsy Beadweavers Street team.  Check out all the Beadweavers work by searching for EBW TEAM.  They have a lot of really cool bead work on that site.  I can spend hours just looking around.

That will about do it for now.  Thanks for checking out my work!  Happy Beading!

It is a beautiful gallery located at 223 W. 7th ave in Eugene, Oregon. They have a nice selection of, you guessed it, Sunstones! They also feature paintings and jewelry from local artists. Come on down and check them out. They are also part of the first Friday art walk that happens in downtown Eugene. I will be there for the next art walk on February 6th. Okay, that’s it for now.

Hello.  I just wanted to let everyone know that I have just updated my Etsy shop.  I am beadartbyshari.etsy.com. Check out the bead work for sale.  I just listed the red things.  I had two pairs of red earrings, one red glass hearts and the other red beaded flowers.  I listed the red and pink flower bracelets as well.

I can make the flower bracelets in your custom colors if you wish, with matching earrings as well.  Just send me a message and we will start talking bead colors.  I am always happy to discuss custom designs and colors.  I am very intuitive about finding the right colors and style for my customers.

Have a wonderful day and keep beading!

Hello all! I just wanted to share some fun news. I have joined the Etsy BeadWeavers group. They are a group of people on Etsy that do the same insane beadwork that I do. To check out their things, go to http://etsy.com and search on EBW Team. I was just there and wow do those folks know how to do some fancy beading. I am going to be entering their beadweavers challenge in the near future, so watch for that.

Hello out there. My name is Shari and this is my blog. We will cover all kinds of topics here. Mostly related to beads and beading of course. I sell my beaded things on www.beadartbyshari.Etsy.com.   It is a hand crafted website. You can find unique things hand made by people from all over the world.

I also sell in person at the Eugene Saturday Market. We meet every Saturday, rain or shine, starting the first weekend in April to the middle of November. We are located at eighth and Oak streets in downtown Eugene.

Thank you for checking out my blog. I would love to hear your comments. Peace!
